Those in the CODAR user community attending ROWG are encouraged to stay for CODAR Day to participate in discussions pertaining to best practices and upcoming updates and improvements.

The 10th Radiowave Operators Working Group Meeting

ROWG is an HF radar-centric meeting for the exchange of ideas and information among HF radar operators and engineers. The biennial Radiowave Operators Working Group (ROWG) sponsored by NOAA’s US IOOS is the only event dedicated to the operations, maintenance, and data output management of HF radar. Providing a unique, multi-day opportunity for collaboration on these topics, the next ROWG event is scheduled to take place 16-18 October 2018 at the NOAA National Marine Sanctuary Monterey Bay Sanctuary Exploration Center in Santa Cruz, CA

Radiowave Oceanography Workshop (ROW) 2017

A number of presentations by SeaSonde users from USA and Europe on the analysis or application of
SeaSonde data are included in the workshop agenda. CODAR Europe team member Pedro Agostinho will
present on the application and evaluation of CODAR AIS-assisted automatic antenna pattern measurement
technology with the Espichel Cape SeaSonde.
